GOLF COURSE GUIDELINES:
We want everyone who visits Hidden Valley Golf Course to enjoy their visit and have tailored our guidelines to ensure golfers and guests of all levels can utilise and share our facilities with minimal fuss.
After all, golf should be a fun and relaxing way to spend your day!
What to wear:
We encourage everyone at Hidden Valley Golf Club to dress for comfort.
However, we have a few guidelines designed for all guests to enjoy the course!
Whilst collared shirts are preferred, we do allow t-shirts and other uncollared tops providing they are neat and there are no exposed torsos, rips etc.
We allow smart/neat denim jeans and shorts in summer (no rips) but slouchy tracksuit pants or boardshorts and casual "beachwear" are not permitted (save them for the beach!)
All headwear is permitted, in fact, we encourage all players to wear protective clothing when the summer sun is out!
Runners, leisure and close-toed shoes are required (after all, you'll be walking around the course for a few hours- you'll want to be comfortable), save your sandals or Havaianas for after the match.
Soft Spike Shoes are encouraged, however, to protect our greens metal spiked shoes are not permitted ( we want to keep the course in tip-top shape! )
We ask all guests to refrain from wearing clothing with offensive logos, slogans or rude words... if you are unsure if it's appropriate then best to leave it at home!... Anyone arriving in such clothing will be asked to leave the course.
We're not going to expect you to read pages of strict rules and conditions! but we do ask that you are always considerate of other golfers and people enjoying our space. A few basic policies.
Whilst we love dogs, they are not allowed on the course. Best to leave the furry family at home or leave them with a non-playing guest to enjoy our outdoor terrace and some food and drink at The Grove (they'll thank you later!)
We'd appreciate it if you could rake all bunkers once you have played out of them! (no one wants to play out of a footprint)
Repair all pitch marks on the green please. This helps to maintain our greens & increases the odds of those vital putts dropping!
All players must carry a sand bucket and fill any divots with sand. This helps to keep the course in good shape and ensures that your “best ever” drive does not land in a divot hole!
We have plenty of carts available for hire: *over 18 drivers only However, whilst on carts, we ask that you please keep to paths where possible - Please do not drive on tees or within 10 metres of greens. No cart racing or scavenger hunts - you can save that for your end of year function ... in fact, we can help organise that!
Our 18th hole is a compulsory call up hole. When you reach the green, stand to the rear of the green and call up players on the tee. Putt out once they have played their tee shots.
The club’s course marshall tours the course to support players, ensuring there is no slow play or carelessness with divots bunkers etc. They are always happy to answer any questions you have (and can even throw a few course tips your way!)
